As a composition teacher, I can help you form score-writing skills and help you develop an artistic voice that is true to yourself. As a production teacher, I can show you how to work with digital audio workstations, effects and structures so you can produce the music you want to make. Should your interest lie in electronic music performance, I will teach you how to play and configure synthesizers and help you develop custom software to suit your own performance needs as you learn how electronic music is played. 

Lessons with me are tailored to suit your specific interests in music-making. While I do not teach how to play any particular instrument, my approach is to work with you to identify personal musical goals in the realm of composition and electronic music, and create lesson plans to help you become the artist you want to be. 

I am committed to creating a welcoming environment where all people of all walks of life are supported equally. This is also how I approach lesson fees. I operates on a sliding pay scale and is willing to meet your needs when it comes to fees. I am willing to conduct lessons over Zoom or FaceTime, but if you are in the Madison area in-person lessons are my preferred method.
