additive synthesizer
This 9-sine additive synth features 10-voice polyphony and two amplitude envelopes.
Each envelope can be assigned to any of the 9 sine wave partials, and can be used with or without a sustain phase to create a variety of organ and bell tones.
The relative peak amplitudes of each partial can be changed relative to each other, as can the ratio between the partials and the fundamental (determined by MIDI note). Please note: this synth is not responsive to velocity.
As always, this software is available as a standalone Max MSP program and a Max for Live device.
subharmonic oscillator
Available as Max for Live and standalone Max devices, this oscillator takes a high fundamental and divides its frequency by integers. You can set LFOs to the amplitude of each partial, creating an undulating texture, as well as setting depth of modulation and overal amplitude per partial. Partials can also be panned and separated across the stereo field for maximum depth using the spectral diffusion knob.
